Our Beveled Edge Stretcher Bars profile 1.5" deep x 1.5" witdth( deep 38mm x width 38mm) are made of high quality kiln dried pine . Even this shape does not have round arc , but the edge is even more smooth than the round arc , they are with tounge and groove , we also have gallery wrap Stretcher strips 38mm*38mm with beveled edge , the only different is that one is 45 degree cutted , another one is with tongue and groove , above photo has show the different , you can see it clearly .  This stretcher bars are finger joined and knot free . Arist painting canvas and high quality canvas prints will also choose this profile , We now recommend more and more customer use it , because this is good for stretching when you fold the canvas on the frame .

The Heavy Duty gallery wrap CROSS BRACES slide easily into the gallery wrap stretcher frame for a solid fit and are sold only with stretcher strip orders. For sizes longer than 30" will need brace bars which will provide better strength and stability. We will give recomendations that if you need a single or CROSS BRACES according to the  size of the overall Canvas Frame and

We recommend use of our CROSS BRACES (middle bars) for strips over 30", to maintain frame strength. Corner braces are recommended for added stability when stretching sizes 36x48 and larger.
